How the calculations work
Every hazard starts with a 100-point weighted ingredient scale. Direct model fields are used where available. Low-level/deep shear, lapse rates, LCL and moisture are derived from the forecast profile. SRH, DCAPE, hail-growth-zone CAPE, storm mode and forcing are estimated proxies when a full sounding-derived field is not directly available. This is an experimental guidance product, not an official SPC outlook.
